Temp Mail for Shopify: Free Trial Emails Without Spam
Shopify trials require an email but work fine with a disposable address. Generate a temp inbox, use it at signup, and read Shopify's confirmation mail there. You get the full trial experience while every follow-up marketing email lands in an inbox that expires instead of yours.
Get a disposable address now. No signup, no personal data.

How to do it
- open a disposable inbox and copy the address.
- Start the Shopify trial signup with the disposable address.
- Confirm the account from the verification mail in your temp inbox.
- Explore the trial. Extend the inbox if you're testing a longer onboarding sequence, or let it expire.
When this is the right move
- Evaluating Shopify before committing, compare it against alternatives without your main address going into three onboarding sequences.
- Testing your own store's checkout emails, QA teams place test orders and check confirmation templates; a disposable inbox keeps test mail out of real mailboxes.
- Supplier and dropshipping research, signing up to supplier catalogs and newsletters that notoriously resell addresses.
Limits to respect
- A live store needs a real address. Once you actually sell, switch the account email to an address you control long-term, order notifications and password resets must reach you.
- Trial abuse is a violation. One trial per person is the rule; temp mail is for keeping spam away, not for farming repeated trials, which Shopify treats as abuse.
- Payment still identifies you. Temp mail hides your email, not your identity, that's fine for privacy from marketers, not a basis for anything dishonest.

Does Shopify block disposable email domains?
Shopify can flag known disposable domains during signup. If your address is rejected, try a new address on a different domain, or use an alias for the actual store and temp mail for newsletters and supplier lists.
